01 — Understand

TMW technology, in three points

TMW designs and manufactures innovative industrial-effluent treatment systems in France, including the ECOSTILL evaporator-concentrator. This modular technology recycles water from corrosive effluents and reduces their volume, using around 70 kWh/m³ and accepting waste heat. Equipment operates at a low temperature of 50°C and uses composite materials resistant to aggressive environments.

01 The solution

Treatment and reuse of industrial effluents through evaporation and concentration.

02 Technology principle

ECOSTILL concentrates and distils effluents at low temperature using humidification–dehumidification, with no compressor or vacuum pump.

03 Applications

  • Industrial water
  • Corrosive effluents
  • Water reuse
  • Heat recovery

TMW is an independent SME founded near Angers in 1999. It supplies turnkey solutions for treating and reusing industrial water. Its ECOSTILL range of modular humidification–dehumidification evaporators concentrates and distils effluents at low temperature without a compressor or vacuum pump. Acid- and brine-resistant GEPPI composite plate heat exchangers recover useful heat. Integrated into complete effluent-treatment plants, these technologies target maximum water and energy efficiency with a rapid return on investment.

Turnkey industrial-water treatment and reuse

TMW designs and manufactures compact, reliable and energy-efficient systems for treating, concentrating and reusing industrial water. They are designed around existing sites that must reduce water and energy consumption while safely handling corrosive, toxic or hazardous products.

ECOSTILL uses modular air humidification–dehumidification evaporation. The system contains neither compressor nor vacuum pump and is manufactured entirely from composite materials. Each module evaporates between 0.5 and 6 m³ of water per day; an ECOSTILL unit can combine one to twelve modules for a total capacity of roughly 80 m³ per day.

Unlike boiling evaporators, this atmospheric low-temperature process dries the effluent. TMW’s energy-efficient design uses welded composite GEPPI plate heat exchangers to condense distillate in corrosive environments.

An all-plastic FPP travelling-media filter captures solids formed during concentration without interrupting production, supporting long-term system reliability.

TMW supports each project from initial study through installation, commissioning and maintenance. Custom engineering, site management and real-time remote monitoring enable rapid deployment and provide manufacturers with operational assurance.
